The Holistic Move Sports Massage Toronto provides:
Integrative approach to identifying the root problem, effective correctional strategies, and producing long-lasting results.
Book an appointment, experience the best treatment, leave feeling like a better version of yourself.
Here’s how it works:
I’ll take you through a comprehensive biomechanical and identify the source of your problem. Then I’ll explain the steps that’s needed to get you back on track towards reaching your fitness goals and doing the things you enjoy.
I’ll develop a tailored strategic plan designed specifically to you and your goals. This plan will allow you to become more physically resilient, pain-free, and quickly get back to your favourite activity effectively and efficiently.
Once your issues are resolved and you are moving efficiently without any pain or discomfort, I will implement exercise and therapeutic strategies to help solidify our results and to avoid future relapses of your issue. Consider this our method of “bulletproofing” your body against future wear and tear in your sport and daily life.
PCL sprains often result in knee instability, causing the knee joint to feel weak and unsteady. This instability can impact your ability to participate in sports and affect daily movements that involve bending or twisting of the knee.
Difficulty in Knee Movement
PCL sprain pain can make it challenging to bend or straighten the knee fully. This limitation in knee movement can affect mobility and hinder your ability to perform activities that require flexion or extension of the knee joint.
Limited Knee Function
PCL sprains can lead to limited knee function, making it difficult to perform activities such as walking, running, or climbing stairs without discomfort or instability.
Reduced Range of Motion
PCL sprains may result in a reduced range of motion in the knee joint. This restriction can affect your ability to perform movements that require full flexion or extension of the knee, limiting your mobility.
As an RMT, I will continue to offer high-quality therapeutic massage therapy treatments. In addition, with my additional education and training in functional neurology, I can offer patients an integrative approach that often has many longer-lasting benefits. Using a functional neurology-based therapy like P-DTR, we identify the movements that cause your symptoms, perform a specific treatment, retest the same movement after treatment, then provide you with the appropriate exercises for “homework” to solidify our results. Rest assured, I am also Certified and Licensed by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
I often hear from my patients that they have tried nearly everything to resolve their issues or meet their fitness goals. Since every case is unique, this is why I have an initial assessment appointment for first timer visitors. It allows me to understand the problem better, ask the proper questions, and recommend the best treatment for your needs.
PCL sprain massage is a specialized massage technique that targets the muscles and tissues around the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) of the knee. It aims to reduce pain, inflammation, and muscle imbalances, promoting healing and strengthening. PCL sprain massage can help expedite the recovery process and support overall rehabilitation efforts.
While some tenderness may be experienced during the session, the primary objective is to provide relief and promote healing without causing excessive pain.
A PCL sprain massage session usually lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the severity of the condition and individual needs. Your therapist will assess your specific situation and recommend an appropriate duration.
The number of LCL sprain massage sessions required varies depending on the severity of the injury, individual healing response, and rehabilitation goals. Your therapist will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that may involve multiple sessions for optimal recovery.
Insurance coverage for PCL Sprain massage is covered if your insurance provider and policy has RMT coverage.
Absolutely. In fact, integrating PCL Sprain massage with other complementary treatments or therapies, such as physiotherapy, can often yield even more comprehensive results. Your RMT can collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists or chiropractors, to create a holistic treatment plan tailored to your needs. This approach may include exercises, stretching routines, and additional modalities to support your recovery and optimize outcomes.
Yes. If you have remaining coverage for Registered Massage Therapy, you will be issued a RMT receipt upon payment that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. In some cases, a Doctor’s note may be required – Contact your insurance company for details. We are not direct billing for Massage Therapy at the moment.
Unfortunately, no. My schedule is frequently booked up weeks in advance. I recommend booking an appointment ahead of time using my online booking system.
